Moncasso brings together artwork from different sources, we feature work from both independent artists and designers, and Studio Twelve, a creative team based in the United Kingdom.
Are Moncasso prints real paintings?
Our pieces are not original hand-painted works. They are premium giclée canvas prints of created artworks. Giclée is the gold standard of fine art printing, used by galleries and museums worldwide, and delivers the kind of colour depth and longevity you would expect from a gallery piece rather than a mass-produced poster.
Why don't you credit individual artists on every piece?
Most Moncasso prints display the artist or studio behind the work directly on the product page. Pieces created by an independent artist are credited to them by their personal or professional name according to their preference (unless the artists has specifically opted out). Collections developed by Studio Twelve and other creative teams, are most often shown under the studio name rather than a single individual, because these pieces are collaborative by nature, shaped by the collective creative direction from concept through to final print.
