The One Printing Process Almost No One Else in the UK Uses

Most printed wall art scratches easily. It's simply how standard ink dries.

Ours doesn't dry, it's cured. We print using branded Canon inks through a process that sets the ink almost instantly using light, and we're currently the only printer in the UK producing canvas this way. The result is a surface that's genuinely resistant to scratching and water, which is why you'll find Moncasso prints in bathrooms and kitchens as often as living rooms.

Colour Built to Outlast the Room It's Hanging In

Cheap prints fade within a couple of years. Ours is rated to hold its colour for over two centuries, longer than the house you're hanging it in has probably existed.

Every print is checked against a fixed colour reference before it leaves the building, so the navy you order today looks exactly the same in five years as it does the day it arrives.

A Canvas That Feels the Way It Looks

Run a hand across a cheap canvas print and you'll feel it instantly: thin, uneven, slightly plasticky. Ours is woven from a blend chosen for how it holds its texture over time, and checked under direct light before anything else happens to it, catching imperfections in the weave most people would never spot.

Built Not to Bow

A single piece of wood warps eventually. It's simply what timber does, especially the mass-produced, fast-grown kind. Our frames are built from several smaller, straighter lengths of pine joined together, so the frame holds its shape instead of slowly bending under its own weight.

Every frame is assembled by hand. Every canvas is stretched by hand, tightened to a precision refined over 21 years, not set once by a machine and left alone.

We Reject Prints for Defects That Most Customers Never Notice

Every print passes through four separate people before it ships: one checking the print, one the cut, one the frame, one the pack. What gets caught is usually invisible to anyone but a trained eye, a knot in the weave, a few millimetres of canvas showing at the frame edge, a joint that isn't quite flush.

Every piece is finished by hand, led by someone with 21 years in the trade, checking every print by hand and knowing exactly what 'good enough' really means, because they're the ones deciding what doesn't make the cut.

Even the wood is considered: pine sourced regionally rather than shipped halfway across the world for a single order. Italian pine for UK and European frames, American pine for US orders, Australian pine for Australian orders. The same printers and process everywhere, so a print in Manchester looks the same as one in Melbourne.
