About Jeannine Läderach

Jeannine Läderach began painting at nineteen alongside her music studies. Working from her home in Switzerland, she paints in acrylic on canvas and sometimes brings fabric scraps and wall paint into her work.

Everyday objects, light and small gestures are recurring sources of inspiration. Her figures often have no visible faces, leaving space for viewers to recognise something of themselves in a painting.

She describes herself as “South African by heart, Swiss by life”, a connection reflected in her mix of expressive tones and pared-back compositions.
