"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together."
Vincent van GoghWe talk a lot on this blog about about art, interior design, and where a piece might look best in your home. What we don't always get to talk about is where the art itself comes from.
So here's an introduction. We feature designs and collections from a variety of independent artists and creative studios that we've sought out and asked to work with directly over many years. All of them are people and teams we're genuinely glad to work with, and we'd like you to know a little more about some of them.

Independent Artist, Germany
Bilge Paksoylu
Bilge is a digital fine artist based in Germany. Her work is bold and richly layered, with a sense of colour and texture that feels closer to classical painting than anything you'd expect from a screen.
The Deep Botanicals collection was created exclusively for Moncasso and is entirely her own vision. Look closely and you'll find small details tucked into almost every piece, a beetle here, a moth resting there, all her instinct rather than anything we asked for.

Independent Artist
Faye Jones
Faye has been part of the Moncasso range since 2021, longer than any artist we work with. Her style is quiet and considered, clean linework and botanical studies that hold their own in a room without shouting for attention.
Her pieces now appear across several collections rather than one standalone range, and they've quietly become some of our most loved prints, the sort people come back for once they've lived with one for a while.

creative studio, uk
Studio Twelve
Studio Twelve is a UK-based creative studio we've been working with since 2019. Some of our most loved collections, Clouds among them, have come out of this partnership.
It's a genuine team effort on their side, several people shaping every piece from the first idea through to the final print, which is why the work carries the studio's name rather than one individual's. What ties it all together is a simple habit: every piece is designed with a real wall in mind before it's designed as an image.
Their focus sits on classic, timeless styles with a modern twist, art built for the way people actually live now rather than any passing trend.

How A Piece Joins The Collection
Sometimes we go to an artist with a specific brief in mind, a mood or a gap we'd like filled. Other times we come across a piece that already exists and simply love it enough to ask. Either way, it usually comes down to a feeling more than a checklist: does this hold up on a real wall, in a real room, next to real furniture. When it does, it's in.
Want To become a moncasso artist?
We're always keen to hear from independent artists and designers whose work might suit the Moncasso collection. Maybe you've already got a body of work that fits our aesthetic. Maybe you've got an idea for something built exclusively for us. Either way, we'd like to see it.
