Vertical Wall Art

Vertical format does one thing no other orientation can: it draws the eye upward and takes the ceiling with it. In a room with standard or low ceilings, that effect does more for the space than the artwork itself.

It also solves the walls people give up on. The strip beside a door, the gap between two windows, the turn of a staircase, a narrow chimney alcove. These are the spaces where a wide canvas will not fit, and where a tall one looks deliberate rather than squeezed in.
